Ride the Rockies

Denver, Colorado, United States
4 Nights

About Your Trip

  • Active Sports

  • Arts & Culture

  • Points of Interest

Ride down the road on an adults-only DreamTrip* like no other with Josh Paine, CEO of WorldVentures™. You’ll experience the Colorado Rocky Mountains from every angle as you hop between rustic mountain towns and rugged wilderness on a Harley Davidson® Motorcycle or in the cab of a Dodge Charger® (or similar premium rental vehicle). Starting in Denver, you’ll ride up into the mountains, looking back towards the state’s capital and the last major city you’ll see for the next five days.

Take a moment to gaze at Colorado’s famous “fourteeners” as you cross back and forth across the continental divide, passing through the Collegiate Peaks, San Juan Mountains, Weminuche Wilderness and Sangre de Cristo Mountains — some of the most visually striking ranges in the Colorado Rockies.

Each night, you’ll experience a new town along the route. From Denver, you’re off to Salida, a town established in 1880 as a trading stop along the Arkansas River, and now a popular stopover for white water rafting, hiking and 4-wheeling. In Silverton, an old mining town, you’ll get a glimpse into the past at your hotel, a historic building from Silverton’s early mining days. On your final night, you’ll stop in South Fork where the South Fork River meets the Rio Grande River, and site of a major connection point of the Rio Grande Western Railroad.

*Please note: This ride is designed for experienced riders only. These roads are narrow, steep, winding and can have extreme conditions. We will be covering over 150 miles (241 kilometers) per day. If you do not feel comfortable riding a motorcycle in all conditions and over all terrains, we recommend that you book the car option or bring your own vehicle. Please see Additional Information for further details.

What we love:
• Ride through Colorado’s spectacular Rocky Mountains including one of the most scenic roads in the United States, the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway, also known as the Million Dollar Highway.
• Stay in classic mountain towns, surrounded by Colorado’s legendary “fourteeners,” defined as any mountain with a summit over 14,000 feet (4,267 meters) above sea level.
• Stop in several iconic locations along your route such as Breckenridge, Ouray, and Durango with an optional scenic drive to Anamas Forks ghost town in the San Juan Mountains along the Alpine Loop 4-wheel-drive trail.

Venture into a beautiful Maine cliffside town that brings together the best of galleries, shops and restaurants. Savor succulent Maine lobster, fresh clams and sumptuous blueberry crumb cake for the liveliest, and tastiest, of evenings.

In your leisure time, stroll along Marginal Way, winding along impressive rocky cliffs that welcome awe-inspiring ocean views. Discover the many sides of Toronto, Ontario, Canada — from the ground up to the sky — with a comprehensive city bus tour followed by a stop at one of the world's tallest structures. From the comfort of your coach bus, see more than 25 sights, including a fountain adorned with ceramic dogs, an illuminated 3-dimensional Toronto sign and the popular Toronto Eaton Centre. You'll pass by historic landmarks such as Casa Loma and Steam Whistle Brewing in addition to museums like Hockey Hall of Fame and Royal Ontario Museum. You can also admire the distinctive characteristics of Chinatown and Kensington Market neighborhoods.

Then it's off to one of Canada's most visited attractions, the CN Tower. It held the status of the tallest free-standing structure on the planet for 30 years and is a winner of several Guinness World Records™ — to this day, the tower remains a bucket-list destination for many visitors. Take a high-speed ride in a glass-fronted elevator to the tower’s revolving 360 Restaurant, an award-winning venue that offers spectacular city and lake views. After lunch, walk around the observation deck (at LookOut Level) and brave the Glass Floor where you can look straight down to the ground 1,122 feet (342 meters) below!

The bus will return you to the amazing Distillery District, a National Historic Site. This open-air pedestrian area is known for cobblestone streets, the award-winning Mill Street Brewery, galleries, boutiques, restaurants and well-preserved Victorian-era buildings.

What we love:
• Elevators at the CN Tower provide a small transparent floor panel for a unique view of the tower shaft.
• A museum site since 1937, Casa Loma is a famed film location, thanks to its Gothic Revival architecture and castle-inspired features.
• Steps from your hotel is the start of Yonge Street, one of the longest thoroughfares in the world at approximately 53 miles (86 kilometers) in length.
